Alufluoride MD passes away

Visakhapatnam, May 20 Mr V.S. Prasad, Managing Director of Alufluoride Ltd here, passed away in Hyderabad on Tuesday, according to a statement issued by the family. Mr Prasad, 75, is survived by wife and two daughters. He set up the unit here in the nineties at a cost of Rs 20 crore to manufacture alufluoride out of the waste material (hydro fluosilicic acid) provided by Coromandel Fertilisers.
