Cholamandalam DBS Finance launches portal

Chennai, May 20 Cholamandalam DBS Finance Ltd has launched an online investment portal for retail investors and traders, according to a press release from the company.

The portal, www.choladbsdirect.com, will make available a range of financial instruments for investment. It offers a safe and secure gateway for investors, including first time investors. It will also host the in-house research that has till now been available to high net worth clients, the release said.

Cholamandalam DBS, the joint venture between the Murugappa Group and DBS Bank, will offer the products over the 90 wealth management branches it has in 46 cities. It will be a user-friendly interface for traders and investors and is priced aggressively. It will partner with banks and financial institutions to offer their customers a range of white labelled retail products like personal loans and online broking through the portal, the release said.
