Tata Teleservices (Maha) trims net loss

Mumbai, May 20

Tata Teleservices Maharashtra has trimmed net loss for the quarter ended March 31 to Rs 20.59 crore from Rs 45.9 crore reported a year ago. Total income has increased by 25.6 per cent to Rs 491.1crore (Rs 390.7 crore). For the year ended March 31, the net loss narrowed to Rs 125.7 crore from Rs 310.6 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007. Total income for this period increased by 25.6 per cent to Rs 1,789.6 crore (Rs 1,424.4 crore). The TTML scrip was up by 0.28 per cent to close at Rs 35.95 on the BSE.
