Siemens unit ties up with Satyam

Hyderabad, May 21

Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of Siemens Industry Automation Division and a provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, and Satyam Computer Services Ltd on Wednesday announced a global consulting and systems integrator alliance. The alliance seeks to provide software and services to help customers enhance efficiency and enable clients to benefit from the duo’s expertise. The companies will use Siemens PLM Software’s PLM technol ogy to create solutions for the chemical, oil and gas and industrial machinery industries. The Director and Senior Vice-President and Global Head for Consulting and Enterprise Solutions, Satyam, Mr Joseph Lagiola, said: “Siemens PLM Software’s technology, combined with our multi-industry expertise, will enable us to further evolve the PLM industry.”
