Outsourcing Mindcrest targets US, UK markets Our Bureau Pune, May 21 Mindcrest, a legal process outsourcing firm, has chalked out an aggressive expansion plan which includes an increase in headcount and a 200-300 per cent growth from US and UK markets. Mr Rohan Dalal, Managing Director, India operations, Mindcrest, said the company is looking at increasing its headcount to 800 by March 2009 from its current strength of 450 lawyers. He added that the expansion will take place in Mumbai. “The expansion would mainly continue in Mumbai and Pune and so far we have not had any internal discussions for a new location,” Mr Dalal said. Commenting on the financials, Mr Dalal said currently about 70 per cent of its revenues came from the US, about 25-28 per cent from the UK and the remaining was from Canada. He noted that within a couple of years, it was targeting about 200-300 per cent revenue growth from these markets. He said the company was also catering to Australia as it fell under the Common Law countries. Mr Rohan said currently about 2,000-3,000 people were employed in India in the LPO segment, which catered to pure-play legal services. More Stories on : Outsourcing | Courts/Legal Issues
