Accel Frontline acquires XLNC Infotech

Chennai, May 22 Accel Frontline Ltd (AFL) has acquired XLNC Infotech Solutions, a Bangalore-based company specialising in warranty management services providing repair services for multinational original equipment manufacturers.

Value not yet finalised

The value of the acquisition is yet to be finalised. XLNC will become a 100 per cent subsidiary of AFL, a 51 per cent owned subsidiary of BT plc providing IT services for companies.

XLNC reported a turnover of Rs 5.2 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008. It has a test and research centre, and a team of 40 engineers.

Warranty management

Accel also provides warranty management service for various IT product vendors, and the acquisition will provide a good synergy between the two companies, said an Accel official.
