Ten students win contest, take off to NASA

Hyderabad, May 22 Ten student winners of the ‘Destination NASA’ contest, boarded the flight to the NASA Space Centre along with their parents and teacher from Delhi on Thursday.

This was a moment of cheer and celebration for the ten students who were winners of ‘Destination NASA’ Knowledge Challenge organised by www.24x7guru.com, a Hyderabad-based firm offering online education.

According to a statement, these students are now on a nine-day fully paid trip to Washington DC, the Indian Embassy, Washington Science Museum, Washington City tour, Orlando Sea World, Kennedy Space Centre Astronaut Training Experience/Epcot Centre, a full-day trip to Disney World and New York City.

Mr Sanjiv Gupta, Director, Learnsmart India, said “24x7guru.com conceptualised the knowledge contest for 1000s of students who dared to dream and challenge them. We are proud to be associated with such a group.”

Before embarking on their journey to the US, these students along with their parents and teachers met Dr Abdul Kalam, former President of India.
