Suven bags patents in Russia

Hyderabad, May 27

Suven Life Sciences Ltd secured two product patents in Russia and Australia for two of its New Chemical Entities (NCEs) for the treatment of disorders associated with neuro-degenerative diseases. The patents, which are valid until 2023, included the class of selective 5-HT compound discovered by the Hyderabad-based company.

They were being developed as therapeutic agents in the treatment of cognitive impairment associated with neuro-degenerative disorders, according to a release. - Our Bureau
