N. Rangachari on Sankhya board

Hyderabad, May 27

Sankhya Infotech Ltd, a Hyderabad-based technology provider for simulation and learning, has inducted Mr N. Rangachari, first chairman of Insurance Regulatory Development Authority (IRDA), on to the company board. Mr Rangachari is now the Financial Advisor to the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The Managing Director of Sankhya Infotech, Mr N. Sridhar, told Business Line that Mr Rangachari brings expertise in finance and insurance sector to the company. As a listed company which is currently deploying one of the largest e-learning initiatives for chartered accountants, we believe his expertise and guidance would be of immense support for the Rs 20-crore project now underway, he said. The objective of this project is to cover 1,50,000 CAs and over 50,000 students, he said.
