Our Bureau Mumbai, May 27 Tata Communications has entered into a memorandum of understanding with UAE-based Etisalat to provide enterprise grade network services in UAE. However, financial details of this engagement were not made known. The two companies would provide Ethernet services, a protocol necessary for controlling data transmission over a local area network, and other connectivity, according to a filing with stock exchanges here on Tuesday. Earlier this year, Tata Communication had announced the expansion of its Global VPN service to China through an NNI (Network to Network Interface) agreement with China Enterprise Netcom Corporation Limited (China Entercom or CEC).
