Adani Enterprises net doubles

Ahmedabad, May 29

Adani Enterprises Ltd, flagship company of the Adani Group, has reported a 114 per cent jump in its net profit in fiscal 2007-08 compared with the year before and declared a 60 per cent dividend for the year.Announcing the audited and consolidated results for the year ended March 31, 2008, the company said here that FY08 had the net profit at Rs 368.74 crore (Rs 173.28 crore) while revenues stood at Rs 19,648.71 crore (Rs 16,953.22 crore), up 16 per cent. The board also re commended equity dividend at the rate of 60 per cent for 2007-08, the company said in a statement here. EPS for the period increased from Rs 7.31 to Rs 14.12. —
