Mekaster to set up unit at Haloi

New Delhi, May 30

Construction equipment company Mekaster is in the process of setting up a manufacturing unit at Haloi in Gujarat, to meet the surging future demand in the country and overseas. Mekaster - which manufactures mechanised construction equipment, including fixed form concrete paving equipment, construction elevators, industrial hoists, and shaft raising platforms - plans to take its products and engineering services to other countries on turn key basis, according to a release.

"Mechanisation in construction industry is making deep inroads and demand for construction equipment is growing in India and other developing countries. Mekaster has recently been selected as industry partner by Non Aligned Movement (NAM) Science & Technology centre as industry partner to promote its product and services in 42 NAM member countries," said Mr V.M.
