3-day meet on higher education

Hyderabad, May 30

A three-day summit on Higher Education was inaugurated by Dr J. Mahender Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, ICFAI University, Tripura, here on Friday. “The objective of the summit is to bring together academic leaders to generate contemporary thought and share opinions in context of changes taking place in the economy and their impact on career opportunities,” a release from ICFAI University said. It added that the summit is also expected to serve as a forum for exchangin g ideas and networking with other participants. In the next two days participants will deliberate on various issues concerning the higher education scenario covering aspects such as reforms in higher education, industry expectations from educational institutions and academic leadership in the current environment. The release also said that heads of 45 leading education institutions from across the country are participating in the summit.
