Software States - Gujarat Modular InfoTech unveils new Gujarati package Our Bureau Ahmedabad, May 30 The Pune-based Modular InfoTech Pvt Ltd has launched the latest version (Version 7.1) of its flagship product, Shree-Lipi Gurjari specially designed for Gujarati language, targeting the DTP sector, newspapers, corporate offices, the State Government and for use in e-governance through this language printing and publishing packaged software. The package contains 358 Gujarati fonts along with additional 3,100 stylised fonts. This package is used to enable all the Windows-based applications (Windows 98 and Windows Vista) to create documents and data in Gujarati and other Indian languages. In addition to this, the package also offers a number of utilities to help create documents in Gujarati and other Indian languages. Dr M.N. Cooper, Chairman and Joint Managing Director, told reporters that the company had developed nearly 3,500 fonts using 15 scripts.
