Kochi, May 30

SmartCity Kochi has appointed Mr Mithun Beeru as the Business Development Manager for its operations. Once the month-long orientation period is through in SmartCity’s headquarters in Dubai, Mr Beeru will permanently be based in Kochi, where he will assist and support business partners for SmartCity Kochi. SmartCity Kochi, a joint venture between SmartCity and the Kerala Government, is a self sustained township for the knowledge-based industry in Kochi, particularly f or IT/ITES industries. SmartCity Kochi expects to generate approximately 90,000 jobs. Apart from the modern infrastructure, SmartCity Kochi will offer a host of business support services as well as residential, hospitality, retail and recreational facilities.
