New Delhi, June 4

Bosch Security Systems, a division of €46.3 billion Bosch Ltd, is eyeing the nascent surveillance market in India.

Armed with an array of product ranges to suit domains such as retail, power and infrastructure, the company is strengthening its after-sales network in the country.

“India is the fastest growing market for the surveillance industry. This can be attributed to the buoyancy in various sectors.

Bosch is looking to address the surveillance needs of the industry,” Mr Dhiraj Wali, Vice-President, Bosch Security System told reporters.

Stating that the company is looking to become a one-stop shop for all security and safety needs as well as communication, he said the company is strengthening its after-sales services in India.

“The after-sales service centre at Bangalore will reduce the turnaround time and help us help consolidate our presence in the market,” Ms Doris Grammer, Vice President Asia Pacific, Bosch Security System said.

The Rs 200 crore video surveillance market is growing at a compounded annual growth rate of Rs 25-30 per cent.

Ms Grammer said the investments in India will be mainly on sales and services plus brand building.
