BoI, BoR hike NRE term rates
Mumbai, June 4
Bank of India and Bank of Rajasthan on Tuesday announced they have hiked non-resident (external) rupee term deposits, up to 30 basis points, with effect from June 1. Tha banks have increased the rates on NRE (rupee) term deposits of one year to less than two years to 3.16 per cent (3.08 per cent), on deposits of two years to less than three years to 3.46 per cent (3.18 per cent) and on deposits of three years up to five years to 3.81 per cent (3.45 per cent).
