Rainy season: Monsoon clouds hovering over the sky on the river Hooghly in Kolkata on Monday. According to the Regional Meteorological Department, Kolkata, south-west monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of West Bengal, some parts of Orissa and Bihar. Northern limit of monsoon passes through Bhubaneshwar, Sriniketan and Forbesgunj. Conditions are favourable for further advancement into more parts of Orissa and Bihar, remaining parts of West Bengal and some parts of Jharkhand within next 2-3 days.
