Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers (MCF) Ltd has taken up rainwater harvesting facility at its township at Kunjathbail in Mangalore. A press release by the company said here on Tuesday that the rainwater harvesting scheme consists of collection of roof water from some of the residential quarters, covering roof area of about 2,300 sq m, and recharging the dry bore well through a percolation pit. The rainwater harvesting scheme was inaugurated on the occasion of World Envir onment Day at the township recently, it added. –
