Bangalore, June 12 Seasons Club Class, the luxury retail chain of furnishing brand Seasons, plans to step up its presence in the domestic hospitality sector.

Having provided furnishing solutions to global hotel chains such as Bellagio, Harrah’s, Ritz Carlton, Fairmont Rio, Marriott and Shangri-La in the US and Palace on Wheels and Infosys campuses across the country, the Rs 60-crore Delhi-based brand currently has about 65 per cent of its business contributed by commercial projects.

New collections

Speaking at the launch of the Seasons Club Class store in Bangalore on Wednesday, Mr Mandeep Singh Wadhwa, Managing Director, Seasons Furnishings, said that Seasons, in keeping with international fashion trends, launches at least two collections a year.

“This comprises 600 new designs to suit the needs of both our retail and commercial clients here.”

Seasons Club Class fabric offers 700 SKUs in fabric, accessories, rugs, bed covers and cushions.

The company currently exports over 50 per cent of its total production to 20 countries.

Seasons has a manufacturing unit in Noida with a production capacity of about two million metres and is setting up a second one at an investment of Rs 70 crore near Sonepat.

“This will provide with an additional capacity of two million metres,” Mr Wadhwa said.

Seasons Club Class stores are present in four locations in the country (Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Bangalore) and plans are on to set up stores in Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad and Kolkata by March 2009. Seasons furnishings are also available in shop-in-shop formats in 47 stores across the country.
