SRF commissions wind project

New Delhi, June 12

SRF Ltd has successfully commissioned all the nine units of a 14 MW wind power project in Tamil Nadu at a total investment of around Rs 90 crore. The project, located in Tirunelveli district, is being implemented as a Clean Development Mechanism initiative under the Kyoto Protocol on greenhouse gas reduction, SRF said in a release. The SRF board had approved the wind energy project in December. - Our Bureau
