Liquor shops auction

Applications under study: The Hyderabad District Collector, Mr Naveen Mittal, and other Excise officials opening tenders for auctioning liquor shops at the exhibition grounds in Hyderabad on Monday. In spite of a growing movement against small liquor shops in rural areas, 60,000 people have filed tender applications for the 6,800 retail shops in the State.
