Announcements Our Bureau Coimbatore, June 17 Ipca Laboratories Ltd has received approval from the USFDA to manufacture and market Metoclopramide tablets USP 5 mg and 10 mg in the US market, which would be marketed by Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals Inc, a US-based wholly owned subsidiary of Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. Ipca had entered into a strategic alliance with RLL’s US subsidiary and this is the sixth product approval received under the alliance from USFDA. South Indian Bank Ltd’s board of directors will meet on June 28 to consider the issue of bonus shares subject to approval, if any, of the regulators and the shareholders. S. Kumars Nationwide Ltd sees potential acquisition opportunities in Europe and North America, which are currently being examined by it. It has decided to pursue potential targets that would result in strong front-end/back-end synergy for the company and where companies operate in fashion and design led activities as opposed to low-cost commodity business.
