Hotel Leela in marketing pact

Thiruvananthapuram, June 18

Hotel Leelaventure Ltd, which owns The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, has entered into a sales and marketing agreement with the Chicago-based Preferred Hotel Group. “The US is the largest source market for The Leela and this alliance will strengthen our brand positioning, awareness and market penetration,” said Mr Onno Poortier, President, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts. The Preferred Hotel Group provides reservation, sales and marketing services to over 600 hotels in 65 countries. Leela’s alliance with the Preferred Hotel Group will give it access to airlines and credit card partnerships besides supporting international sales through the Preferred Hotel Group’s 29 global sales offices. Hotel Leelaventure currently has properties in Mumbai, Bangalore, Goa and Kovalam, with new hotels scheduled to open in Gurgaon, Udaipur, Chennai, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Pune over the next few years. It already has a marketing alliance with Kempinski.
