New Products & Services Titan unveils Nebula Zeus Our Bureau Bangalore, June 18 Sensing an opportunity and interest in mechanical watches, Titan Industries has launched Nebula Zeus – a mechanical automatic watch in solid gold for men. Priced at Rs 1,10,000, the limited edition watch (500 pieces) “harks back to an older era of luxury and romance,” said Ms Suparna Mitra, Head (Marketing), Titan Watches. “The trend of mechanical watches is coming back with increasing consumer interest. With a million quartz watches around, consumers want something exclusive. World-wide too, brands are reviving mechanical watches with new collections,” said Ms Mitra. The Nebula Zeus watch has been crafted using Swiss made mechanical automatic movement with gold finish and a sapphire crystal back cover. Other features include an instant start, a second hand stop device for accurate time setting, 42 hours reserve powers and auto wind convenience. The watch collection was launched by singer and actor Vasundhara Das. Nebula is known for its solid 18k pure gold watches. The brand is estimated at Rs 15 crore, growing 20 per cent year-on-year, said Ms Mitra. This year, Nebula hopes to clock a 25 per cent growth on that, she added. Two more collections from Nebula are expected to be launched this year. Titan alone will come out with around ten new collections, said Ms Mitra.
