Coimbatore, June 18 Allcargo Global Logistics Ltd has convened a meeting of the board of directors on June 26 to consider and approve, among others, allotment of equity shares of the company to the shareholders of Transindia Freight Services Pvt Ltd, pursuant to the scheme of arrangement and sub-division (split) of nominal value of equity shares of the company.

Bartronics India Ltd has tied-up with LG Electronics of US for their IRIS recognition technology and products. The agreement allows Bartronics to deploy LG IrisAccess as part of its solutions in Europe, Africa and West Asia and South Asia (including India and Singapore).

Mahindra Forgings Ltd has installed and commenced production of 6,300-tonne press. With this the company has eight forging presses, having an aggregate annualised production capacity of around 4,000 tonnes per month. The company had intimated on March 5 about the breakdown of one press having a production capacity of around 1,100 to 1,200 tonnes per month. It is being overhauled and is expected to be put in operation by end of September.

PI Industries Ltd’s board of directors has recommended issue of shares on rights basis at 1:1 ratio and bonus issue (post-rights issue) at 1:1 ratio.
