Global sourcing

It is heartening to know that India is next only to China as global sourcing country (Business Line, June 18). Such confidence has been reposed by the global community because of the India’s growing economy, particularly the services sector.

It is necessary to extend the growth story to manufacturing and agriculture to bridge the current account deficit in international trade, to create employment opportunities and to make India an economic superpower.
