Citymax bullish on coffee biz

Pune, June 19

Citymax, the hospitality arm of the Dubai-based Landmark Group which operates in five segments in India, expects coffee to be its fastest growing business. The company that has acquired master franchisee rights for 25 years for Australia-based Gloria Jean’s coffees in India has plans to open 500 outlets over the next ten years. Around 40 per cent of these will be co-owned while the remaining will be franchises which they may operate, Mr Ravi Saxena, Managing Director , said. At present, it has two coffee outlets each in Mumbai and Bangalore. Citymax is also working on expanding its presence in malls through its Polynation brand of food courts and FunCity entertainment zone
