Software HP grooms partners, vendors V. Rishi Kumar Hyderabad, June 20 Hewlett-Packard India is incubating solutions partners across the country and working with independent software vendors to ensure faster deployment of their business critical systems. “This is part of HP’s efforts to localise and offer services that are tailored to specific requirements. What is significant is that a buyer of these systems has the flexibility to opt for the operating system of his choice,” Mr Santanu Ghose, Country Manager, Business Critical Systems and Nonstop Serves Technology Solutions Group. Mr Ghose said that this has been an important offering as it allows them to opt for what they want HP Unix System, Windows and Linux. Speaking to Business Line, Mr Ghose said “by grooming solutions partners and working closely with independent software vendors and also with partners such as SAP, we hope to bring down the total time for deployment.
