Madurai, June 20

A one-day education awareness programme on the scope of education in Singapore is being held in the city at GRT Regency on Saturday. India is among the top five sources of international students to Singapore for education. Yet, lack of awareness about the online procedures for admission is precluding many from south Tamil Nadu from pursuing their education there. The meet is to familiarise the aspirants with the procedures that nearly start a year ahead, said Ms Dhavani An umolu, in a meet with the press here. The programme is being organised by Singapore Education, a multi-government agency initiative from Singapore, in conjunction with the Association of Accredited Advisors on Overseas Education, Chennai.
