Varsity professor honoured
Hyderabad, June 20
Prof Girish Saran Agarwal, Dean, School of Physics,
University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been honoured
with Fellowship of Royal Society, the United Kingdom.
The honour was in recognition of his seminal
contributions to quantum optics, according to a release.
He developed theoretical tools to address the problems in
open system dynamics now in use world-wide, it added.
