Rubber Spot rubber stays steady Aravindan Kotayam, June 21 Rubber prices finished steady on Saturday. The weekend session was calm and quite in the absence of global guidance. The market activities were in a low pace as there was no consumer presence in the main marketing centres. RSS 4 closed flat Rs 124.50 a kg as on Friday. “The domestic market is lagging Rs 12 to 15 a kg behind the international levels” a trader said. “It is surprising to see that even a sharp gain in the Japanese markets does not trigger an enthusiasm in the domestic scene during these days”, he continued. Spot prices were (Rs/kg): RSS-4: 124.50 (124.50); RSS-5: 122.50 (122.50); ungraded: 119.50 (119.50); ISNR 20: 121 (121) and latex 60 per cent: 85 (85). More Stories on : Rubber
