Ardex Endura commissions 2nd plant

Mumbai, June 23

Ardex Endura India Ltd, manufacturers of tile and flooring products, has commissioned its second plant in Baroda to complement its existing Bangalore facility. Ardex Endura is a joint venture between BAL, UK (part of Ardex Int.) and tile maker H&R Johnson (India). The plant, with a capacity of 20,000 tonnes, will produce an array of products in the Ardex flooring and Endura tile range. The group is also expanding into waterproofing and wall-care products. Mr Mark Simm, Managing Director, Ardex Endura India, said, “With the growth we have had in the BAL Endura and Ardex brands, we expect more plants would be needed to further complement our facilities in Bangalore and Baroda.” —
