Linkwell Tele develops POS terminal

Hyderabad, June 23

Linkwell Telesystems, a telecom solutions company, has developed an indigenous secure Point of Sales Terminal. Christened Visiontek-91POS, the device can be used for offline and online card-based payment transactions, a company press release said. Claiming that it is the first product from India to qualify for the PCI (Payment Card Industry) PIN Entry Device Security Standards, the release stated the addition of PCI approved payment terminal model was the first move in company's target to tap the opportunities in the banking, microfinance and retail sectors. The POS systems are being produced at the company's manufacturing line here. - Our Bureau
