Hyderabad, June 23 Keeping in mind the growing opportunities in the food processing and marketing of agricultural produce, the Andhra Pradesh Government has set up a new department for food processing, agricultural marketing and cooperation.

In order to establish the new department, the Government has severed marketing and cooperating wings from the Agriculture Cooperative Department. Besides, it drew food processing wing from the Industries and Commerce Department.
