Bal Pharma’s Uttarkhand plant nearing completion

Bangalore, June 24 Bal Pharma Ltd is focussing on a four-fold revenue growth to Rs 300 crore by the end of 2010, according to its Managing Director, Mr Shailesh Siroya.

Its new manufacturing plant in Uttarkhand is nearing completion and conforms to USFDA (US Food and Drug Administration) and the UK MCHRA guidelines. Its active pharma ingredients (API) plant at Bommasandra in Bangalore has been approved by the Australian regulator TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration).

For the year ended March 31, 2008, net sales income of Rs 90.35 crore was up 18.6 per cent year-on-year.
