Godawari Power gets forest land

Coimbatore, June 24

Godawari Power & Ispat Ltd has received `in principle' approval from the Ministry of Environment & Forest for diversion of 106.60 hectare of forest land for Ari Dongri Iron Ore Mines in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh subject to fulfilment of certain conditions. The company shall comply with the various terms and conditions of in principle approval and again approach the Ministry for grant of final approval before the transfer of forest land for mining use. -Our Bureau
