Essar Indonesia's service centre

The Essar Group's steel plant in Indonesia, PT Essar
Indonesia, has commissioned an advanced service
centre in its cold rolling complex. Built at a cost of $15
million, the centre has an annual capacity of 0.3 million
tonnes. The units will process hot rolled, pickled, cold
rolled and coated steel products. This is the only facility
in Indonesia to offer pickled, cold rolled, galvanised and
service centre facility under one roof, the company
release said. The service centre will address
requirements of manufacturers of automotive equipment,
components, white goods, enamel and cookware,
precision tubes, electrical stamping, furniture,
construction and electrical appliances and panels. . Essar
Indonesia operates a cold rolling complex with an annual
capacity of 4,00,000 tonnes and galvaniszing capacity of
