Financial Performance Corporate Results - Co-operatives States - Karnataka South Canara Bank net up 9.91% Mangalore, June 25 The South Canara District Central Cooperative (SCDCC) Bank Ltd registered a net profit of Rs 6.45 crore during 2007-08 as against Rs 5.87 crore in the previous fiscal, recording a growth of 9.91 per cent. Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, Mr M.N. Rajendra Kumar, President of SCDCC Bank, said that this is an all-time high net profit of the bank in the 95 years history of its existence. During 2007-08, the bank did a business of Rs 1,228.25 crore (Rs 1,014.89 crore). The deposits of the bank stood at Rs 671 crore (Rs 521.43 crore) and advances at Rs 557.25 crore (Rs 493.45 crore) .The bank has also introduced a mobile banking facility in Mangalore where a van provides the services of a bank in designated places during week days. - Our Bureau
