Strides ulcer drug gets approvals

Bangalore, June 26 Strides Arcolab Ltd has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it has received ANDA (abbreviated new drug application) approvals for its famotidin injection in four dosages.

The stomach ulcer drug is licensed to its joint venture Akorn-Strides, LLC, is the ninth ANDA approval for sterile injectable products. The commercialisation will start shortly, Mr Arun Kumar, Strides group CEO and Vice-Chairman, said. The approval is for injections of 10 mg/ml; 2 ml, 4ml and 20 ml.
