Zenith upbeat on Smart Style PCs

Coimbatore, June 26

Zenith Computers is upbeat about the market response to its introduction of the Small Form Factor Desktops, a month ago. The company has sold over 1,000 Smart Style PCs, the last couple of days, its Chairman and Managing Director, Mr Raj Saraf, told Business Line. ‘It is not cheaper than the conventional desktops. But by reducing the metal components, we have made it energy efficient. The freight cost will also be less, because of the shrinkage in size. The efforts will benefit the user indirectly,’ he said. According to him, such portable PCs would be ideal for metros such as Mumbai, where space crunch and rising rentals calls for low space consumption. The product offers execution efficiency of a desktop and portable efficiency of a laptop, he said.Zenith is targeting to sell 6-lakh Smart Style PCs every month
