4-day jewellery expo in Chennai

Chennai, June 27

Zak Jewels 2008, a four-day jewellery expo organised by Zak Trade Fairs & Exhibitions, was inaugurated at Chennai Trade Centre on Friday. The B2C (business to consumers) fair has close to 40 participants from Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. According to Mr Prem, Senior Vice-President, Zak Trade Fairs, the range of platinum and gold jewellery on display will be in traditional, antique, bridal and gift collections. Besides, it also featu res light-weight European jewellery collection from Belamore. To promote the expo, the organisers have also announced “special gifts” for every 500th visitor. “The last edition of this expo witnessed over 50,000 footfall. This time around, we expect that to cross 65,000,” said Mr Prem.
