Hardware Samsung LCD monitors to cost more Our Bureau New Delhi, June 30 Samsung India has announced its plans to effect a five per cent price increase on its LCD monitors. This price increase, which will range from Rs 250 to Rs 500 across the Samsung LCD Monitor range, will be effective from July 2. According to Mr Sanjay Sharma, VP-Sales, Samsung IT Business, “The depreciating rupee and the rising inputs costs have compelled us to effect this price increase.” Samsung has a series of LCD Monitors across Myst, Hayden and Touch e series in the screen sizes between 15”, 17”, 19”, 20” and 22” including wide screen models. The top of the line Touch e series comes with a contrast ratio of 8000:1 for finer video and pictures, 16.7 Million Colour support, MagicClear technology for anti reflection and wide viewing angle. The Samsung LCD monitors are priced in the range between Rs 7500- to Rs 14000. More Stories on : Hardware
