A s part of the silver jubilee celebrations of the Mahatma Gandhi University, the Department of Printing and Publishing is organising a function at Baselius College here on Wednesday for the release of the first academic book published under the newly launched UGC assisted scheme, said Mr Kurain K. Thomas, Director of the Department of Printing and Publishing. The book, Benjamin Baileyum Malayala Sahithyavum , authored by Dr Babu Cherian, C.M.S. College, Kottayam, is based on his Ph.D. thesis which won the university’s Suvarnakeralam Award. – Our Correspondent
