Bharti AXA begins operations in Tirupati

Our Bureau

Hyderabad, July 1 Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company Ltd, the private life insurance joint venture between Bharti Enterprises and AXA Group, announced the launch of its operations in Tirupati.

The branch presence of Bharti AXA Life in Andhra Pradesh now spans five cities including Hyderabad (two branches) Vijayawada, and Vishakpatnam.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shyamal Saxena, Chief Distribution & Marketing Officer said, “Apart from being an important pilgrimage centre, Tirupati is also a trade and education hub. This has created a large pool of literate population in the city, which we believe will benefit from our well-researched product suite and our unique distribution plan.

“In addition to the branch, we would have extended presence here through Airtel Relationship Centres (ARCs). We are already present in over 30 ARCs across Andhra Pradesh. Across India, we are present in more than 350 ARCs as of May 2008.”
