Mahajan takes over as CMD, Canara Bank

Bangalore, July 1 Mr Avinash Chander Mahajan took over as Chairman and Managing Director of Canara Bank on Tuesday on the retirement of Mr M.B.N. Rao.

Mr Mahajan was formerly Chairman and Managing Director of Allahabad Bank. He is also a member of the Indian Banks Association Managing Committee. He has 36 years of banking experience.
