GM offers Spark at Rs 2.66 lakh

New Delhi, July 3

General Motors India has said it would offer Spark at a price of Rs 2.66 lakh onwards (ex showroom New Delhi) as against the earlier price of Rs 2.89 lakh for its base model. The company said that it was mainly due to increased production capacity with its new plant commencing shortly. “The special price is the result of improved localisation of Spark coming out of operational efficiencies due to increase in production volume,” said Mr Ankush Arora, Vice- Presi dent, Marketing, General Motors.
