Our Bureau New Delhi, July 4 India’s favourite bahu, television actor Smriti Irani, may have never been shown cleaning the kitchen, but now she’s all set to ‘Dazzl’ audiences as Dabur’s brand ambassador. The company announced the national launch of its Hard Surface Cleaner, Dazzl, on Thursday which is to be endorsed by Ms Irani. Dabur has been test marketing the brand in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka markets since the last six months and is now taking it national – with the launch of a disinfectant floor cleaner and anti-bacterial kitchen cleaner. Estimated marketThe hard surface cleaning market is estimated at Rs 1,200-odd crore, according to Dabur, and the company is hoping to capture a 10 per cent share of the markets over the next few years. “The new Dazzl hard surface cleaner range is a result of extensive research from Dabur India and is a truly world class product for the Indian market,” Mr Girish Kumar, Senior General Manager (Home Care), Dabur India. Mr Kumar added that the success of the brand had been encouraging. While the Dazzl Disinfectant Floor Cleaner will come in 550-ml packs, priced at Rs 50, the Dazzl Anti-Bacterial Kitchen Cleaner will be available in two versions, a 400-ml spray (priced at Rs 75) and a 500-ml toggle (Rs 65).
