SBH hikes term deposit rates

Hyderabad, July 5

State Bank of Hyderabad increased interest rates on domestic term deposits with effect from July 5, 2008. According to a release, interest on deposits for 180 days to less than one year now stood at 8.50 per cent (7.5 per cent previously) for below 15 lakh and 8.60 per cent (8 per cent) for Rs 15 lakh to Rs 1 crore; above one year to less than three years 9.50 per cent (9 per cent) for below Rs 15 lakh and 9.60 per cent for Rs 15 lakh to Rs 1 crore (9 per cent) and for thr ee years to up to 10 years at 9 per cent (8.5 per cent). —
