No more free parking at Hyderabad airport

Our Bureau

Hyderabad, July 6 Tenaga Parking (India) Pvt Ltd, a part of the Malaysia-based Tenaga Group, announced the removal of 15-minute grace parking period in the main car park area of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad.

From Sunday midnight, motorists have to pay Rs 30 and Rs 50 for economy and premium parking respectively for the first 30 minutes.

There is, however, no revision of any parking fees currently enforced at the airport for long-term and premium car parking, two-wheeler, coach and cargo truck parking for the first two hours and more. The removal of free parking facility is expected to decongest the arrival ramp for easy movement of vehicles.
